Description:
Join Zaidy Charrón and Devon Sweeney for a 20-hour immersion into the heart of Embodied Meditation—a practice of guiding awareness through the subtle terrain of breath, body, and being. This experiential training is designed for yoga teachers and practitioners, as well as facilitators, therapists, and space-holders from all backgrounds who wish to skillfully and safely lead others in meditation.
In this training, you will receive foundational tools to guide meditation for both groups and individuals. Whether you are a teacher looking to deepen your voice, or a seeker wishing to embody the practice more fully, this weekend will help you cultivate presence and clarity as a guide.
We will explore:
Somatic awareness and how to support others in tuning into bodily sensation during meditation
The subtle energy system and how to weave it into meditation to deepen connection and insight
A range of embodied meditation techniques, adaptable to meet diverse needs and intentions Basic universal pranayama practices as anchors for stillness and flow Mudras to ground, focus, and enhance subtle awareness during practice
Mindful breathwork, body scans (nyāsa), and contemplative awareness as tools to foster self-regulation and insight
How to create a safe, trauma-aware container that honors emotional intelligence and nervous system resilience
We will also invite guest teachers from different schools of meditation to offer diverse perspectives and lived practice.
This rich, integrative weekend will deepen your understanding of meditation as both a personal practice and a shared offering. Through community and practice, we will create a supportive and non-judgmental space for inner exploration and growth. Together, we will discover that embodied meditation is not just a set of techniques—it’s a transmission from the heart of the teacher.
