SELF CARE FOR YOUR DOSHA TYPE
with Zaidy Charrón
Friday, February 20 | 6:00–9:30 PM | @ Sandhya Yoga
$45
Ayurvedic self care begins with understanding how constitution, environment, and daily rhythms interact to influence balance. In this experiential workshop, participants will explore the qualities of the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—and how these energies express themselves in the body, nervous system, and lived experience. Rather than focusing on generalized wellness practices, this workshop offers an Ayurvedic framework for choosing supportive rituals, movement, and lifestyle rhythms that are appropriate for your dominant dosha and current state of balance. Emphasis is placed on working skillfully with seasonal influence, daily cycles, and individual tendencies. Through discussion, reflection, and gentle embodied practices, participants will learn how to recognize signs of imbalance and respond with clarity—refining self care as a responsive, cyclical practice rather than a fixed routine. Some prior knowledge of Ayurveda is recommended. Participants are encouraged to complete a basic dosha assessment in advance to support clarity and application during the workshop.
